Happy Valley Communications (HVC) is Penn State’s student-run communications firm that exists to offer professional communications services to both local and national clients. HVC is a unique organization, as it allows students to apply what they have learned in the classroom and through internships in a real-world agency environment.

Happy Valley Communications was established in 2009 and has continued to grow in size and notoriety on campus since its inception. The firm continues to add new positions and departments to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of the communications industry. We value integrity, professionalism, and excellence in all of our operations.

Our staff is selected on a semester basis after a detailed application and interview process. The firm is comprised of students from multiple majors, schools, and disciplines, as we find it gives the team a well-rounded and different point-of-view.

Clients are also assigned to HVC on a semester basis.
